The Jim McLean Golf Academy at Miami Beach Golf Club features top teaching professionals who work with beginners and PGA and LPGA TOUR players alike. No matter what level of play you currently enjoy, spending time with these instructors will help you play better and enjoy the game even more.

STAFF

Michael Hunt – Lead Master Instructor
Michael joined Jim McLean in 1996 and spent 1997 training under Jim assisting every lesson, school and clinic. He was voted one of the Top Teachers in the state of Florida in 2005, was nominated for Golf Magazine's Top 100 instructors in 2003 and 2005 and has taught Len Mattiace, Heather Bowie, Vickie Goetze-Ackerman, Cristie Kerr, Bernhard Langer, Hal Sutton, Doug Barron, Rosie Jones and Jena Geddes.

Chris Ardolina – Master Instructor
Chris joined the Jim McLean Golf Schools in 2007. He is a Class "A" PGA Professional and a Jim McLean Certified Instructor. Chris has had the opportunity to spend time with numerous top 100 teachers and has personally assisted Jim during a plethora of lessons. He graduated from Methodist University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Professional Golf Management.

Wes Mensing – Certified Instructor/Director of Operations
Wes joined Jim in 2009. He is a class "A" PGA Professional who graduated from Methodist University. Wes has been a golf professional and instructor at some of the best clubs in America including: Caves Valley Golf Club, Promontory Golf Club, Haggin Oaks, and Longue Vue Club. He has had the privledge learning form some of the top teaching professionals in the business including: Jim Mclean, Chris Toulson, Jim Hardy, Gary Wiren, and Chuck Cook.

Alana Swain – Certified Instructor
Alana is a Class A PGA Professional who before joining the Jim McLean Academy worked at renowned clubs such as Lake Shore Country Club, Glencoe , Il, Old Greenwood Golf Club, Lake Tahoe, CA and Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, CA. She is Titleist Performance Institute certified golf fitness instructor and International Sports and Sciences certified strength conditioning instructor. Alana was the Captain of the National Championship Methodist University women's Golf team and placed third individually earning first team All American status.

Adam Kolloff
Adam Kolloff joined the Jim McLean in 2010. He is originally from Stow, Massachusetts and earned a degree in economics at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. As a junior golfer, Adam was consistently ranked one the top players in the state of Massachusetts, highlighted by winning the 1998 Optimist International Junior Golf Championships. Adam spent the past year as Jim McLean's personal assistant. He enjoys working with students on all aspects including the full swing, short game, mental game, and management game.

Alex Beach – Certified Instructor
Alex joined Jim in 2010. He has been a professional and instructor at prestigious clubs including Ipswich Country Club, Indian Wells Country Club, Maroon Creek and the Divi Links Golf Learning Center. Alex has had the opportunity to work aside top instructors such as Craig Shankland, Bill Forrest and Manny Zerman. He was a member of the 2005 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship Team at Johnson & Wales University-Miami.
